Mrs. Amelia Beth Lipinski, a long-time resident of Rosenberg, passed Thursday the 21st of June at Oak Bend Medical Center at the age of 64 years.
Born in 1953 in Groesbeck, TX, Amelia and her family came to the Rosenberg area when she was a little girl. Amelia is a graduate of Lamar Consolidated High School, Class of 1972. Amelia worked as a seamstress in her father’s dry cleaning business, Cook’s Cleaners, for over 30 years, and she was a longtime member of the Church of Christ.
Amelia was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She welcomed so many people into her home and kept them close to her heart. She loved to cook and bake for her family, and she loved to teach the family members how to cook.
Amelia will be dearly missed by her husband, James, her two sons and their spouses, Jeramie and Shalaya and Anthony and Deidra, her five grandchildren, and her two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, Bill and Linda Cook, and her brother, George Cook.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 in the chapel of E.P. Compean Funeral Directors at 4:00pm. Family will be welcoming guests at 3:30pm.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association in her honor at heart.org.
