Israel Becerra

Israel Becerra, 44, was born on Dec. 23, 1974, and went to be with his Lord & Loved Ones on Mar. 2, 2019.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of E. P. Compean Funeral Directors, on Thursday, Mar. 7, 2019, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30pm.

Israel is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Becerra; sister, Desiree Becerra.

He is survived by his mother, Elida Matovina and her husband Timothy; his brothers, Rudy Becerra, Raul Becerra, Brandon Becerra, John Kosler, and Carlos Matovina; his sister, Lindsey Lee Becerra; his grandparents, Johnny and Geneva Martinez, and John and Estefana Yanez; along with his uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, friends and other loved ones.

Israel was a jokester. His latest hobby was figuring out how to fix his car. He loved fishing because he said it made him feel at peace with no worries in the world.

My son, the weight of the world is off your shoulders. Your struggles with addiction are no more. Until we meet again, my fighter, know that we love and cherish you always.
