Mario Carranza Sr.

Mario Carranza Sr., 94, was born on July 28, 1925, and passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sept. 28, 2019.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of E.P. Compean Funeral Directors on Wed., Oct. 2, 2019, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary being prayed @ 7:00 pm.

Funeral mass will be held on Thurs., Oct. 3, 2019, at 10:00 am @ Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, in Rosenberg, TX.

Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Rosenberg, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Juanita (Rodriguez) Carranza; brother, Rodolfo Carranza.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Mario Carranza Jr. and wife Magola, Luis Carranza and wife Helen; daughter, Delia Moreno and husband Robert; brothers, Raul Carranza, Eloy Carranza and Luis Lauro Carranza; sisters, Rube Martinez and Graciela Carranza; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loved ones.
